Single Horn with 3 périnet valves "modèle Merck"

A 3-valve version of the Mahillon 499 model. After 1900, this model would be called “modèle Lebrun”, after WW I the instrument receives a Belgian tricolore and production is continued until the 1960's. This particular model was very popular in wind bands, and was at the time one of the most affordable horns on the Belgian market, costing just over 130 francs in 1880.
