Wunderlich single F rotary valve horn
C.A. Wunderlich, Siebenbrunn (D) ca 1920

Wunderlich produced fine horns up to the 1950's, that were used by several German orhcestras at the time. This one was found in the collection of a wind band in Northern Belgium. Thanks to its excellent build quality, it was preserved very well and only required minor repairs to get it into working condition. The bell is very large, providing a very dark sound, ideal for performances of early- 20th century German romantic music.
